About the Orchestra
Each year the (OMEA) participates in a project intended to stimulate orchestra programs in each of our five state regions. The Northeast Region Orchestra is a result of this project. Its membership represents the most outstanding performers from several high school districts of young musicians who auditioned last spring. Many of the students who participate in the five regional orchestras will be selected for the honor of performing in the All-State Orchestra at the annual OMEA Professional Development Conference in February of 2026.
Event is free and open to the public.
