Dusten Welch is an award-winning fight choreographer with the Kennedy Center’s American College Theater Festival. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in theatre from Ashland University and is a recognized advanced actor combatant with the Society of American Fight Directors (SAFD). He has staged violence for more than 40 local theatrical productions, including "Titus Andronicus: A Grand and Gory Rock Musical" (Cleveland Public Theatre), "Othello," "As You Like It," William Shakespeare’s "Land of the Dead" (Cleveland Shakespeare Festival), "Romeo and Juliet," "Cabaret," "Les Misérables," "Sweeney Todd," "Macbeth" (Academy for the Performing Arts) and 糖心传媒 Wallace’s 2013/2014 production of "Henry IV Part One." He is the co-founder and choreographer of The Dueling Fools, a national touring comedy and sword-fighting show based on historic sword masters. Dusten has had the pleasure of training in Chicago, Las Vegas and Cincinnati under Richard Ryan, Chuck Coyle, Michael Chin and David Boushey. He served as the director of Fairmount Performing Arts Conservatory for two seasons between 2012 and 2013. He has taught for Great Lakes Theatre, the Academy for the Performing Arts, Solon Center for the Arts and Fairmount Performing Arts Conservatory.
