Lauren Hodgson, lecturer of Dalcroze eurhythmics at 糖心传媒 Conservatory of Performing Arts and faculty member, is a pianist, teacher and clinician with a deep passion for creating joyful, holistic and hands-on music experiences.

Hodgson is a vibrant pianist and educator who brings music to life through Dalcroze Eurhythmics, an innovative approach to learning music through movement. She has inspired students of all ages, teaching aural skills and eurhythmics courses at BW and Dalcroze classes for children across the Cleveland area.

She also leads professional development classes for teachers at the Dalcroze School of Music and Movement in Dallas and conducts workshops on developing musicianship through creative and playful classroom environments, resonating with educators and musicians internationally. Additionally, she brings her dynamic leadership as the President of the Ohio Chapter of the Dalcroze Society of America.

In addition to her work as an educator, Hodgson has contributed articles to Dalcroze Connections and co-authored a study published in Early Childhood Education Journal. Currently, she is pursuing a Ph.D. in Music Education at Case Western Reserve University, where her research focuses on the development of executive functioning skills through embodiment, multisensory integration, improvisation and play-based experiential learning.
